2022 MBK Fishing Derby

The Second event, I would like to invite you to is the Monterey Bay Kayak Fishing Derby held by my friend and fellow kayak angler Adam Helm. Adam runs the shops down in Monterey Bay and runs a pretty good operation there. So if you want to know more about kayak fishing, and fishing in the region, you can always contact him and his staff. His event will be held on Saturday September 7 from 5:45 am. -12:3o pm., with an award ceremony held shortly after.

I have attended this event in the past many times, and I’ll tell you it’s a lot of fun. You get to meet a lot like minded people, and it’s a great event for beginners to build your network.

I know many of you have reached out to me about finding people to fish with and I would highly recommend you register for this event so you can network with the Kayak fishing community. So go ahead and register. It’s a TLA approved event.
