San Luis Reservior is a bust for strip bass, regardless of the tricks my friend CrazyFisher pulls on me. He always finds a way to hook up with a  SLR striper while i’m twiddle my thumbs for hours.

Here have a look.

I think he’s lying but i can’t dispute the truth. It’s on video.

With SLR being a bust, i went to shadow cliffs for the $18 dollar trout feast. Yes fans of the lost anchovy, that is correct. There is no complaining of the perfect weather and country club fishing conditions, but 18 dollars for inspection +  various fees to fish baby trout, that’s a little steep for this Chovie but there i was, fishing for baby trout– a long ways away from summer fishing, and that my friends is how the year will end. I started with carpet halibut, hammered 25 lb salmon and ended with a 1/2 pound trout. Until 2017 or until sex herring gets in the mood this chovie is out. –The Lost Anchovy
